Help should feel human.
Collective Support is a Houston-based for-profit company that runs a free information and referral service for U.S. families. A real fronter picks up the phone, listens to your situation, and tells you which federal programs, local food banks, and verified hotlines actually fit. That's the whole service.
Why we built this
Most assistance websites are designed to capture your information and sell it. Forms get submitted into a void. Auto-responses promise help that never comes. People in genuine hardship get treated like marketing leads.
We do it differently. A real fronter picks up your call, listens, opens a ticket, and tells you which federal programs and local resources fit your situation. We don't pay your bills, give gift cards, or submit forms for you. What we do is shorten the search — and follow up to make sure you got through.
Real fronters answer (833) 453-0508. Mon–Fri 9am–6pm CT. Average wait under 3 minutes.
We tell you which federal programs, state agencies, and local food banks match your situation — with the right phone numbers.
Every ticket gets an email or callback within one business day. No bots. No auto-replies. No offshore call centers.
Our fronters.
A fronter is the real human who picks up your call. They're trained on the federal programs (SNAP, LIHEAP, Section 8, Medicaid, etc.), the local food bank networks, and the verified hotlines we refer to. They know how to spot urgent situations that need to be prioritized.
Our team is based in Houston and works real 9-to-6 shifts — no offshore call center, no gig-worker scripts, no commissions tied to upsells. They're paid to help you find the right call to make.
Photos are illustrative; we don't publish individual fronter names to protect their privacy on sensitive calls.
What we're honest about
- We're a for-profit company. Not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Collective Support, LLC is a privately-held Texas company.
- We're not the government. We're not affiliated with HUD, USDA, HHS, the Department of Education, or any federal/state agency. We don't represent any other organization.
- We don't pay your bills. We don't pay rent, utilities, insurance premiums, or medical bills. We don't issue gift cards, checks, loans, or financial aid. We don't submit forms or documents on your behalf.
- What we do is point you to the right call. Our fronters know which federal programs and local resources fit which situations. We tell you the right phone numbers and what to ask. That's the entire service.
- Many programs we discuss are free to apply for directly. You can always go straight to your state SNAP office, FAFSA, or Healthcare.gov. We add value by helping you navigate quickly — but we don't lock anyone out.
